Having watched Raegan evolve with and through his art form of Pounamu carving over the past 5 years has been enjoyable. Pounamu is a Taonga to be cared for (the tears of Waitaiki), so when choosing a piece to gift to a loved one or friend it is important to have a carver that has a pure respect for the Kaupapa.

Raegan has created his mahi ‘Takutai Rere Jade’ entwined with his passion, which i feel is emphatically beautiful and in turn enables him to live and breathe the art he creates. Pounamu carries a mana with it, the wearer must feel one with the piece so having a passionate artist create a unique piece as Raegan does is honouring the true art form and i will always support that.

I love the commission pieces Raegan has created for me. My husband and son both wear Taonga carved by him. I will continue to watch him mature through his mahi & support him with his passion.

Shepherds whistle

Raegan made my partner a beautiful Pounamu shepherds whistle which has some mother of pearl in it as well. It whistles with two strengths and he wears it everyday to bring Mack our dog back when he takes off chasing rabbits at work. It’s a beautiful piece of art.

Custom commissioned Pounamu, Jade, Greenstone. Whatever you call it - if you know what you want and can't find just the 'right' piece, this is where we can help.

Are you looking for something that speaks specifically to your loved one? A particular hue or style, or with that 'extra' personalisation? We can make it specially for you and have listed the process here so you know what you can expect.



When you reach out, having a budget in mind and sharing it helps us to work out what sort of detail/stone quality and size we can make your Pounamu piece in.



Share your Idea's

A chat is often easiest over the phone to share your idea's on what you'd like your Pounamu piece to represent. This enables us to narrow down designs.



Sketching process

We'll then create a few rough sketch choices for you to choose from.



We take a deposit

Once we've received your 50% deposit, we'll start work on your Pounamu piece. The final payment is required before we send the finished commission to you.



Payment note

You'll be able to pay for your commissioned Pounamu piece with your credit card online. We will send you an invoice by email with a link to the payment gateway.
